My Simfiling Process
- find a song
- cut the song with ACID Pro 8.0
- sync and step with ArrowVortex
- create graphics in Affinity Photo
- cut music videos with Kdenlive
- compress videos with HandBrake
I try to keep it simple. My new files are rated 1-10 (classic scale), with double step and jank glory. Sometimes it's on purpose, and other times it's not. If I find something especially bad I can just update the file. :P I love including videos. I like having at least Beginner through Heavy on singles (sorry, I don't play much doubles!). My files tend to be on the easier side in general.
Me & DDR
I discovered DDR at an arcade MANY years ago... and it really caught my interest. After I gave the MAX2 machine a try and struggled with an Oni course, I was hooked. Later, my mom joined a bowling league that had an arcade with Extreme, and with some time spent online, I found my way to rhythm gaming, stepmania and a deeper appreciation for music.
Currently, I’m focusing on reconnecting with myself and enjoying the process of creating simfiles. My goal is to make enjoyable songs for Outfox, and while I’m not aiming for perfection, I hope others can appreciate what I create.
